Award winning Sawley Abbey wedding photography based in Skipton and covers the Yorkshire Dales. Most of you know that being based in Skipton I am primarily a Yorkshire wedding photographer but just a short drive down the road is the incredible Spread Eagle Inn at Sawley Abbey. The wedding of Helen and Matt started on the most glorious of days and really showed off the best that the countryside of the north has to offer. The ceremony was held a few miles down the road in Kelbrook then we went off to the beer garden and wonderful surroundings of Sawley. Let me tell you, it was hot. So hot the most popular drink of choice at the champagne reception was the Sol and lime. Lots of fun was had on the day and it was a joy to be in the company of Helen, Matt, their family and friends. We got some excellent bride and groom portraits and some really cool group photos at the Abbey. With the weather being so perfect the guests were able to have the most relaxing wedding day you could imagine, in the sun with good company and a nice cold one. Later on we were treat to the superb acoustic sounds of Tom Richardson and then the party really begun. Here is a selection of some of my favourites from the day.
