Laura & Richard
This is the Coniston winter wedding photography showcase of Laura & Richard. It wasn’t too long ago that we had a blast on their pre wedding shoot. After that snowy day I just knew that their wedding was going to be a lot of fun too. What I didn’t know was that I would be treat like a member of the family. From the word go it was all smiles and laughter. Giggles in the morning as the girls got ready, then it was onto Richard who was incredibly relaxed and fine spirited in the church.
Let me tell you a bit about these two lovely people. Now, I won’t go into some of the details that came out from the hilarious speeches but what I will say is from personal experience. Laura & Richard are two of the nicest and most genuine people I have met. Throughout the day I realised that this has no doubt been helped by their parents and family. When I get to attend weddings like this it really does make me scream from the roof tops just how much I love my job. Enough waffling from me now though, time to show you a selection of photos from their incredible wedding.
Laura and the girls were rocking the poses before we left the house! At the church Richard was excited, yet chilled out.
Laura couldn’t keep her eyes off her man when walking down the ailse. I loved that!
Even their first kiss was epic!
When we arrived at Coniston we were soon by the lake. The sky was just perfect and most of the time there was a lot of sunshine. I’m pleased that the weather was nice for them! They totally deserved a bit of March luck after being such incredible sports during their snowy pre wedding shoot.
How great do these two look in their portraits?!
Great effort ladies! Always like to have a bit of fun when we can. For those who weren’t at the wedding or outside for the group shots, it started to get very cold quickly. Hats off to you for braving the cold!
Look at the Bannister Suite! Wonderful job yet again by Creative Events. I loved the crisp and elegant whites topped off with a sprinkling of yellow light. Just perfect. When Laura & Richard entered the room (below) you can just see the fun starting to build!
OK. Hands up if you didn’t have a teary eye during this speech.
All 3 speeches were brilliant. Garry gave an incredible insight into the love for his daughter and new son in law. Richard expanded on this love and gave a heart warming speech based around thanking the family and talking about great family moments. Dave topped it off with some funny stories, which I won’t go into but I loved hearing the tales from the past!
The above shot was done with the kind patience of Laura & Richard. It was raining outside so we couldn’t do one of my epic night portraits. So instead I got them both in the conservatory and took away all ambient light in order to get the above photograph. Thanks for your patience for this photo!
This cake was just epic. End of.
The dancefloor was packed for a lot of the time I was there after first dance. In fact the photo above was the only minute it was quiet. Probably everyone got a swift drink in ready for more fun… as per the photo below… caption anyone?
Fun and smiles all round on that dancefloor. My kind of party time!!!
I’m going to finish the blog with a question.
Can we do it all again please?
