Here is a selection of my favourite photographs from a very special wedding held at St Mary’s Church in Embsay and The Alma Inn. Below all of the photographs is a little write up about the day, I hope you enjoy some Alma Inn Wedding Photography!
The day started with the usual bridal preparations then it was straight off to the church. In the church I had a brilliant vantage point thanks to the wonderful vicar. I always like to introduce myself early on and explain how I like to work and what restrictions there are plus explain my 2 secret weapons when it comes to photographing in churches. But, this time I was in prime position and I couldn’t have been happier, not bad for my first job at this church! The weather was a damp day with lots and lots of wind so we took some group shots inside. Jenny & Chris were brilliant sports at The Alma and were up for going outside and braving the elements for some portraits. It got better as some of the family joined us at one point and showed that us Northerners don’t care for a bit of wind and rain! Evening entertainment was provided by the fantastic Uncle Frank who play a mixture of music from oldies right up to modern day, they really got the party going!
